A DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL
Dogs enjoy a break in Devon too, and you'll find we are very dog-friendly here at The Bedford Hotel.
If you're a dog-owner, we know how important it is to you that you can enjoy your break away with your pet, in a relaxed environment where dogs are just as welcome as their human companions!
Your dog is welcome to stay with you in most of our rooms. It's best to call us to book, on 01822 892300, so that we can find the best room for you and your dog (and we'll make sure there are a few dog-friendly goodies in your room when you arrive!).
Dogs are charged at £15 per night, please let us know you’ll be bringing your dog when you book. We do ask that you bring your own dog food and bedding.
Dogs are also welcome in our cozy bar with its log fires, and in our elegant lounge. Whilst we can't welcome your dog in the restaurant, we can arrange a nice table for you to enjoy your breakfast and dinner together in the bar or lounge on request.
It goes without saying that we have some fabulous Dartmoor walks for you to enjoy with your dog. For a shortish walk when you arrive, we suggest the easy stroll from the Two Bridges Hotel to the mysterious and beautiful Wistman's Wood (a little over a mile from the hotel). Or for a longer walk from the hotel, take the Wistman's Wood Circular Walk of approximately 5 miles. And of course, there's the whole of Dartmoor National Park to explore together too!
