It is in the evening that Executive Chef Mike Palmer’s creative flair really comes into its own, with our superb and ever-changing dinner menu. His creations include dishes such as Creedy Carver duck with fondant potato, orange, raisins and chorizo, and basil and ricotta ravioli with wild mushroom, hen egg, leek and truffle.  Carefully-crafted desserts , including Mike Palmer’s signature ‘Everything Chocolatey’, are on hand to round off your meal, along with superb Westcountry cheeses.
If you are staying with us and would prefer a lighter bite to eat in the evening, our Lounge Menu offers a selection of tasty light dishes, main courses and desserts.
Through all of our menus, the firm emphasis is on the very best seasonal ingredients from our local farmers, fishermen and producers.
We have a superb list of fine wines from around the world, provided by our local specialist wine merchant. Our staff are always happy to recommend a suitable selection to complement your food.
Our ales are provided by our very own Dartmoor Brewery – England’s highest brewery, situated at the heart of Dartmoor National Park. All of our ales are delivered in perfect condition, including the award-winning Jail Ale.
